How about some improved logic. Have where you can specify or have a defensive player target the running back and not get suckered into continuing to engage the QB.
It makes no sense how a lot of the plays just aren't worth a damm towards their intended purpose. Tired of seeing 3-4 defenders all mindlessly going towards the Qb even though everyone knows he is just going to pitch the football.
Tired of seeing a defense play work towards a pitch out only to see it epic fail towards almost the exact same play on the next snap.

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/292620/3777180Despite having my players put into a good position to stop a running play, nope the corner back back pedals despite not having anyone to cover as the receivers are all on the other side of the field. Even worse is the safety taking himself out of position - on the 1st play he went to go cover a wide receiver on the second play he mindlessly decides to blitz towards the qb even though another player was doing the exact same thing in front of him and had a clear shot.
What is more irksome is that I set up my defensive purposefully to concentrate on stopping the run. What would have been more proper would be for the safety and more defense players to cover the running back especially considering the stats he has and that it takes a hard hit to tackle the fella.
The game is more about how one understands the percentages and exploits than any football knowledge IMO.
It would be nice if you could make it easier for someone to actually call a defense and have where players actually can improvise or get better.
Instead it seems the same plays get ran over and over and over only because they exploit inherent bad programming and logic.
