I'm in the beginning process of learning this game and how to build effective players, and while looking at stats on the HOF offensive players, I'm noticing a definite trend of HBs with exclusive power traits. I'm wondering why it's seemingly better to have a power HB as opposed to a FB. I'm assuming FBs in this setup are used specifically for run blocking? Also, judging by raw stats and the limited figures most players allow others to see, it appears the vast majority of people focus on power with their running game as opposed to being elusive. Is this a preference of play or does power just beat out elusiveness?

A 100 Power Running HB with 30 conditioning would be lucky to break 2 tackles in 1 play more than once per season.

The #1 HB in the game by a long shot right now is a max Speed/Conditioning build. Just click HOF and look at the #1 HB. With that said I'm a huge fan of power running with 80+ conditioning.
