Are there any pure rushing or passing teams left? When I left a fee months ago, the best teams were pure. Now almost every team is balanced.

I don't think the best teams should have ever been pure, ever since the blocking changes in S10 or whatever. It's just the meta has been slow to adapt because the balanced teams were moving up the ladder. No one really knows how important the diversity bonus is but the reality is well built balanced teams make defensive playcalling a lot more challenging.

Absolute Vodka in JMan is pure run. It's got some issues against certain defenses that would be fixed with passing. Balanced is better all around, but it takes a bit longer to get those builds going.

Not really. Pure passing was still killing it. It started to change with the diversity bonus but in the 1st season, that bonus didn't seem like it helped.

Semi boost, never had sex, and animal kingdom all pure rush and top 10 in vet.

Yeah but zero pure passing teams. Those are the ones that gave me trouble. I've always played well vs pure running teams. So I welcome the change.

Honestly I've wondered why there aren't pure passing teams, I think they could still be more trouble than pure rushing teams even with the current meta. If I was making a team right now it would be all pass, but then again I'm sure there are some smarter GLBers than me who would disagree.

i think it comes down to cost. it takes a lot more s* power to make a pure passing offense good than it takes to make a pure rushing one good.

Counters were, and now outside running in general is, too OP to be pure pass. Plenty of teams that are basically pure pass plus very specific run plays.

yeah this. People are calling teams balanced but in reality the top teams are basically pure passing teams with a high sprint/cond HB that can run the broken plays to the outside.
