How to make the best part of GLB better:

- Vets refund flex automatically when they become legends. Cheaper legends = more participation; it would lead to actual legends of GLB participating in the senior league. Failing that, at least make it so that a S* legend doesn't count against your S* allotment.

- More offers: half the fun of Senior league is adopting a team and dominating your opponents. Getting 6 offers from teams per day as opposed to 3 would accomplish this while still distributing uncommitted players around to all teams.

- Vet players are released at the beginning of the offseason: as it stands, they are stuck until the very last day of the season and then it's a scramble to find teams without taking a chemistry hit. One simple change makes it all much better.

- Actual MVP rankings for the Senior League and MVP trophies at the end of the season. If this can be done for the other leagues, why not for the Legends?

- Better uniforms: no more purple on purple or green on green. Actual interesting and distinctive uniforms. Maybe modeled off classic uniforms of Pro/College football teams.

- Change the name of the Slugs to something actually related to old people. Houston Geriatrics maybe?

- Rename the Senior league the Valhalla League. Sounds so much cooler.

I wonder if they want to make it good in Legend, more with the idea of wanting to encourage people to make new players instead. Players in Legend no longer cost flex, so they may feel they're being charitable by offering it at all.

That said, as a user who's getting close to where players of mine will be eligible for Legend, I'd really like to see them improve it. One thing is that playing for a purely cpu-controlled team will really limit the fun. I realize that if they made it fully human controlled, with human owners or GMs or the like, it might become too good and people would be too content playing there and lots of people would make very few new players and just play on with their old ones.

But what about people paying flex to be offensive or defensive coordinators in Legend? They make some money from them that way, the plays will make sense for the personnel (at least if the buyer isn't totally incompetent), and with the teams still semi-randomly filled it's still a cut below other leagues. If there's more coordinator demand than slots available, and not enough players to have a second Legend league, coordinators can be rotated each season as needed (and unless there's a very low demand for the coordinator slots, one would be limited to one OC or DC slot for one Legend team at a time).

So many good suggestions here. Most are easy to implement too.

Fwiw, I don't think that's a good idea. You would have a ton of legends as no one would every retire their vets. You need there to be some cost to keeping a legend or the player pool gets flooded. I'm not sure I even agree on the S* part, as you might end up with a million legend S*s as people slowly matriculate up additional S*s.

Honestly, I would go the other way where you are never going to see an offer from a team with lots of human players to try to encourage parity. If team 1 and 2 have 20 humans and teams 3-12 have 3 each, you will never get an offer from team 1 or 2 until the other teams catch up. I would also take it to the positional level too, so you won't be able to get on a team with a DE until every team has a human DE.

I would totally watch an all S* league. That's why they're legends! And the problem is players would rather not have their legends play at all if they can't get on the team they want.

It's not stupid. It's that when you spend multiple days trying to get them on a team if they don't in a reasonable time frame, well then you've missed a bunch of games and there are only 14 in the season.

So asking for contracts for a week on a 5% hit rate gets old...

I'ts boredom more than stupidity...

I'm saying it's stupid to care so much about what fake internet dotball team controlled by a CPU your fake internet dotball players play for.

Just sign them to a team and have fun. Senior league is supposed to be about fun, not competitiveness.
