I see two pancakes on the right side of the line that helped break that play open, along with a great pull by the guard. And while run block is the most important skill in that situation, I've found that things like footwork matter also.
Should also note you have a 184 lb CB going against a 235 lb blocking WR on the edge. When I had big blocking WRs, they were pancaking CBs at a 5 to 1 rate on the Sophomore level. GLB2 factors in size I believe. One of the pancakes had a 250 lb TE going against another 184 lb CB lb too.
Here's a Sophomore game from 2 years ago between me and Enterprise. Notice how my old blocking WRs did(two had 7 pancakes). I really liked them...but they couldn't catch a cold lol, and it was just too easy for opposing defenses to gameplan us.
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/227598I've found that run-stopping LBs, and big defensive formations work well against that type of play. Using Dime 3-2-6 means you have 4 CBs out there, and doesn't match up well against a power running team. Probably would do nicely against a balanced running team, but when facing a big offensive set, you need to match their size a bit.
