Shortly after initiating a ban on smoking inside Jakarta Stadium, a mass riot broke out among smoke-happy fans and the security. Portions of the stadium have been temporarily closed due to damage done to them.
"We're hoping to pay for the reconstruction with the rise in beer sales" said Typhoons coach Stromlancer, making a point at the swap some fans have made from smoking to drinking.
Smoking has been legal in Jakarta for as long as anyone can remember, and used to be one of the few places where it was legal to smoke cannabis (marijuana). The ban on smoking includes a ban on the substance, which may be the reason for the riot.
