So I played GLB 1 back in season...I think 2 or 3...
I put in alot of time to GLB, learnt some stuff, forgot it all.
Currently, I've recycled all my players, recoopt my FP, and relearning GLB1.
(btw, its super dead over there)
I also have a RB here at GLB2, but I am finding it hard to get up to speed.
I've poked through the forums, gleaning what I can, but I am not seeing the big general discussions on player types, player builds, ...ect.

I have a ton of FP so I want to mess around a bit with different builds and positions, but I dont want to just waste all my FP to find out I've been doing it wrong.
Any chance someone can link me or refer me to a wiki for GLB2?

Thanks,

What are you wanting to build? A Power or Speed back or what?

Right now with this first player I was building an elusive/speed back.
If it helps, in GLB1 there were landmarks you were attempting to get to. Softcaps.
and you'd only move to the next skill when you had leveled a more important skill to a cap.

This format for GLB2 seems a little more open with less penalty for just throwing around points.

But if you could help me hone my elusive back, maybe that will give me something to chew on in regards to future builds.

I sent you a PM with a decent speed back build. If you have any questions, post here for anyone, or feel free to msg me.

You may also find that, if you click on some of the top HBs in each league, their builds are open. Some of the elite guys roll with open builds. I've learned a shit-ton of stuff from the best builders in the game this way.

Also, as a general and I think important hint, Conditioning and Speed are directly proportional, about 1:1.3 in my esteemed and noble opinion. You need Cond to keep running at full speed.

My 80 sprinting guy is going to need at least 60 Cond to exploit that speed. My 100 sprinting guy will need 70 Cond. to exploit his speed.

Others will argue I'm being over-zealous, but with specialist builds like HBs, the investment is worth it (in my esteemed etc...)
