Now I know that the LgZilla Boys have always rocked sub 25 balance on their receivers with the intention of typically not getting much YAC after the catch in order to maximize morale loss during drives.
However my question is for new teams moving forward and with the recent changes to probability to fall down. I'm used to building WR's with 60-70 balance so that they reliably can stay on their feet more often than not. However with the changes I'm wondering if new WR's could get away with 0 investment in balance and still have the potential to keep their feet maybe half the time or so. I'm not watching Vet games much this season, so I haven't really seen what the changes look like, but in most of the rookie ball I'm watching I haven't seen very much falling down at all.
What do the rest of you think? Is balance no longer necessary for all receivers?
