See it way too often.. I think it detracts from the game. Get rid of it and see how teams would scheme. I don't run it or if I do maybe once or twice. I don't have the personnel to make it effective but even if I did, I wouldn't run it. Just my 2 cents. (oh and sour grapes, sure some I 'll admit it., but still ZEB is an epidemic)

I know there is, I just haven't found it quite yet.. but when you do...... are we stuck running the same plays because of it.. I guess every team has it's identity, much like "real" football... again, it's more sour grapes than anything, but we can't deny.. we see it a TON...

There will always be an OP play that will rise up to the surface no matter how many we get rid of. I'm more in favor of adding new plays to counteract the powerful ones.

A modest play editor would solve all of this. I mean even games like Front page Football had one, and that game is 25 years old. Would breath some life into GLB2 too.

One way that may work against spam from both O and D might be a buff type of deal something like what was supposed to happen for calling a variety of play but in reverse. Doubt it would happen or how effective it might be if implemented but just a thought.

It would simulate the other side now recognizing a play and reacting better to it once its been called too often. Rollout or TE spam all game, D recognizes it and now reacts faster. Run ZEB spam, O runs better routes, line blocks better and QB is more accurate when facing it again.

I would love if some of the cheese spam deal was cut, always something that I've put towards the minus side for GLB. But considering almost everyone online game always has something that's OP I'm not really surprised anymore that its found and run with by online gamers.

I don't think that would work against some spam plays. The issue with ZEB is most often there simply aren't enough blockers to pick up all 6 blitzers. No amount of better blocks, or better routes will stop that. OC has to either run HB dives or hope that a back is held in to block. QB rollout and HB sweeps can be stopped at the rookie level by simply running dime with excess CB's at the LOS, and even later on it can be blown up with properly built LB's and Safeties. Some of the passing though at upper levels is kind of unstoppable if you don't have the right builds already to cover and apply pressure appropriately. Most every play can be countered, either with builds, or with playcalling.

Bo Diddley is right though. More plays would be better. As much as I liked the DPC in GLB1, I actually don't want to be able to create plays here. the casualness of GLB2 is amazing. I didn't realize how much I didn't want to sit around and mix up 400 different custom plays into my DAI with 200+ inputs, and tag each game with 3-4 tags for each position, and there was no scout tool, so you actually had to watch plays and check which personnel was in the game so you'd have a basic idea of what opposing teams tended to do.

You can certainly say that if a DPC existed I wouldn't have to use it, but if other people did I would simply to be competitive. I like that we can be competitive with little more than 20 minutes of game-planning. It's nice. However more Defensive plays would be great.

It's especially powerful in rookie, at that tier its even hard to beat by running Counter plays. It gets weaker and weaker with each tier you move up though.

Yeah, give it time... as you move up tiers ZEB loses its power
