Warrior General Games

Ok Punks. Looks like our league has grown to 9 human teams. Week 1 is always an incredible mystery -- who are you facing? what will they do? just gotta roll the dice.

So here are the matchups:

Botswana Bruisers vs Puget Sound - Botswana is taking the CPU challenge and one upping that $hit. Only 5 human players. Puget Sound is run owned by AirMcMVP and has Mutley on the staff. You never know week 1...but I say Puget Sound wins 31-0

Wesley Chapel Massacre vs CPU Los Angeles Warriors - Dee's balanced (?) offense vs a CPU squad. Will not be a problem. WCM wins 35-3

Bay Area Battle Smurfs vs Tosche Station - 7 human players for the smurfs. 10 for Tosche (who looks to be lining up a WR heavy passing attack). Tosch wins this one 17-3

CPU Spokane Matadors vs Tennessee Leg Humpers - TN will go 1-0 in the CPU challenge with an easy 38-3 win.

CPU Montgomery Outlaws vs Miami Sharks - 20 human players vs a CPU -- Miami wins 24-6

Phoenix Aztecs vs Scrubs - 2 human players vs 10 human players. Scrubs wins 24-3

Of course the rosters are still in flux so some of this will be tweaked. Mostly I see a few teams with abnormal proportions which I'm sure will be fixed by the human owners and ignored to their detriment by the CPU...

Passing teams tend to struggle early on as the builds take longer to distinguish themselves so the run heavy teams should be favored in the first few weeks.

I was just looking for DC issues in my first few scrims. Don't worry, everyone is gonna get a lot of QB Can't Be Stopped.

In case you didn't pick up on it -- many of us in this league are going with only 10 human players (or less).

How did your team lose to a CPU owned team? I've never seen that before.

Its going to be interesting to see how this league does against the rest of rookie. Last year, there were a few CPU challenge teams that did very well.
