New player here.

Is this game like pretty much every other, where Speed is the key to a decent WR? Or are other approaches viable?

Atm, I'm thinking about doing a Catch In Traffic guy. I just found the player guide at the top of this forum,

Receiving
Route Technique: Agility/Awareness
Receiving Hands: Awareness/Confidence, Agility, Strength
Receiving Grip: Strength, Confidence, Awareness/Stamina
Receiving Consistency: Confidence, Stamina
Route Elusiveness: Agility, Awareness, Speed/Confidence
Catch in Traffic: Strength, Confidence, Awareness
Receiving Awareness: Awareness

So I'm thinking, High Awareness and Confidence with good Strength which would mean that Speed, Agility and Stamina would have to be weaker.

Would like 50 Sprinting be workable?

WRs still require some speed. They have to get to a certain spot within their routes to get their targets it seems. If other receivers are covered and the QB has time he will most likely get his targets in these situations. He would still have to create separation some way so you would probably be looking at route tech/elusiveness along with head fake to gain the separation. 50 speed certainly is going to limit his targets though I would imagine. It would also depend on what other receiver speed/route tech/quickness is at as he would receive more targets with other receivers that were also slower. This however would most likely lead to more sacks to the QB. My belief is that he could be productive in the right circumstances but I would try to find a way to bring his speed up to at least 70 if possible. Additionally, agility is one of those bread and butter stats as it effects so many skills and is probably the most important stat for many positions IMO.
