Anyone know of any general build guides? The worry I have is that, if I build one, my dot will try to pass more than is good for him..
You can put in QB rushes (Big I rollouts and Trips formation work best in my experience) and only call inside/outside runs...make sure you have zero passing %s in all tactics tabs(Red Zone, Trailing, Leading, Other) and you will never see him throw a pass.
There is supposedly a "diversity" bonus that gives balanced team's a boost but it's nearly unnoticeable. Most pure running team's are doing well after the off-season changes.

Also I like...
1 strength
10 Agility
6 Awareness
9 Speed
6 Stamina
3 Confidence
Egotist, Scrambler, Workhorse
I will post a power rushing build later.

Depends on if you're going for a Dual-Threat or 100% rush. If Dual Threat I would go Superstar/Early Bloomer/Dual Threat. If Pure rushing I would go Egotist/Superstar/Dual threat. I would not build a non-S* QB that rushes the ball at all. My Rushing QB has an open build if you'd like a reference.

Why didn't you go with Tuck and Run? I take it none of the plays you'd have start out as a passing play?

I like it, but I think Carry Awareness seems a bit low for my taste.

Skeletor will gold tuck and run. My team will be about 40/60 pass/rush with about %20 of my plays designed QB runs....so more like 40/40/20 pass/hb,fb rush/QB rush. This % will be more towards Journeyman though. Right now my QB runs a ton.

I don't like Early Bloomer on a Dual Threat QB. It drops the cap on Conditioning big time. And you can't get Workhorse because you need Dual Threat. So you have to drop a bunch of points into stamina.
Skeletor has Superstar, Dual Threat and Workhorse. I only put 1 stamina on him and he still has 43 conditioning. Cap boost it and he will end up with 58 stamina. Still maybe slightly low but much better than if he went Early Bloomer instead of Workhorse.

At the risk of sounding stupid here, what do you normally consider high enough conditioning? I usually keep mine in the low 50s for almost every dot under the presumption that the coordinators will use depth accordingly.
