In light of GE's amazing run through rookie thus far, thought we'd revive this thread and see who's left, 7 - 8 games in:
Veteran
Central Falcons
Professional
Erkner Razorbacks
Journeyman
No Name
I've Still Never Had Sex
San Diego Sperm Whales
Seasoned
Game of Zones
Fury
Sophomore
Santa Ana Commando Killer Squad
Air Farce
Strange Music
Rookie
1980's Super Villains
Hall of Fame
I don't think Central or Erkner can run the gauntlet in their respective tiers. No Name and San Diego would each have to face each other/PORN twice more (plus a whole host of other really good teams) to run the gauntlet - don't think it's possible. Virgins would also be in a tough spot having not faced PORN, No Name, EEA, and others.
Leaves us in the bottom three tiers:
Fury and Game of Zones are in the same league. As such, they will face each other at least once (very possibly twice). A split would take them out of the running. Additionally, they will start facing J-man teams. Not sure if they will be facing any of the top 10 of the J-man teams but that would be tough draws for them. I'm going to guess neither makes it through the season undefeated.
Sophomore - SACKS and Strange Music are in the same league - which means one of them will be knocked off eventually. I could see SACKS running the league table again (especially with such a dominating win over Attica, a previous league winner) including a win over Strange Music, but I can't see SACKS pulling out a W against every team in the tier, especially having had two very close games already (including a game vs Geneva where SACKS was significantly out-yarded). Air Farce is a possibility if they can get past Strange Music today.
Rookie - I don't think there's ever a hope in hell that a rookie team will run the gauntlet. There's just too much randomness in rookie - and a lot of rookie games come down to playcalling. Hall of Fame has had an impressive run so far but has only played one top 10 team thus far. And GE's Villains.... they've had some really close games. Don't see them pulling it off either.
My prediction is that no team goes undefeated - but if one does, it will be Game of Zones.

He spammed 3 WR trips toss weak. He ran to the strong side 38 times in all previous games and never ran to the weak side. My guys were hung over on energy cubes and played like crap.
