1. FFLW--Gave Brantford the old Heisman stiff arm for the number one spot by slaughtering the vaunted "U Canes" 60-0.

2. Brantford--FFLW's win makes Brantford's 75-0 win seem less than impressive...

3. Fiji--Well we're movin on up, to the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky...movin on up,
To the east side...we finally got a piece of the pie...

Respect pie that is.

4. Newcastle--Convincing loss to New England, plus three one possession wins over Emerald City, Canberra, and Fiji have me wondering about the actual strength of this football team...

5. Brisbane (G)-- Aside from the week one blemish, and a few scores that were closer than they should have been, Gods have been remarkably consistent.

6. FFLivewire--Aside from the U Canes win, and the loss to Tongan...who have they played? Their third toughest victory...is 3-7!!!

7. New England--Fiji and Brantford each held them to 3 points. Need to find more offensive consistency against top tier teams.

8. Emerald City--Despite loss to Fiji, hold on to #8 spot.

9. Rawle Tech--Two easy games left, followed by a ruinous 4 game stretch to end the season.

10. West Scranton--Blown out by Wagga Wagga last week...not a good sign when three of your next 5 are Newcastle, Brantford, and New England.

...and five to grow on....

11. Tongan
12. Canberra
13. Wagga Wagga
14. IC
15. U Canes

We beat the Outlaws at 8-2 now must not have been noticed when you did your rankings?

Doesn't matter to me. We face another good team today.

I've been looking forward to this stretch of games, hopefully it'll be a better gauge of where we're at as a team.

Try 5 game stretch. Combined record of our last 5 opponents is 42-8.

I don't count Las Vegas as tough...their record is inflated.

George, you can get up and get it yourself.

we have a very different team since game 1. and those 'close' games are because we were experimenting.

Yeah, we toned it down a bit against some of the weaker teams as much as we could. I'm taking nothing away from FFLW, that week one loss was a real kick in the ass. That appears to be as solid of a team as we've had in three Pro seasons. They hardly have any competition left on the schedule either, except the Cans and maybe Vegas if they're for real. I think we'll see them again in the playoffs.

We didn't really experiment a whole lot but we messed around a bit so yeah our blowouts weren't quite blowouts. We want revenge on the Caninites though! First we will take it out on the Cans next week though since they are the same city (or region...w/e)!

I figured, but I deal in fact, and not conjecture on my part.

To be honest, for all the people who whine about having to play cupcake teams, and that they aren't relegated fast enough, there are people like me who realize that they'll be losing a valuable resource when those teams are relegated, b/c they'll no longer be able to experiment with different game plans.

Yeah, I can say right now that if anyone else is thinking about experimenting with a DE at LOT, don't bother. It doesn't work.

plus some of the experimentation wreaks havoc on chemistry....if only we had a few preseason games to play with....
