Just what skills make this work successfully? I know you can build it on power backs fairly easy, but what about a speed back? Would a high elusiveness score work? or does it require high balance or toughness?

Says its powered by carry awareness. So as long as you have a good amount of that and I would think some balance it should help some

I ran it on a speed back and it always resulted with him falling down, where as on the power guys it seems to work with np.

That more likely had to do with the power HB's having more power running and balance than a speed back. I doubt it provides much of a bonus to the actual break tackle roll. You can decrease your opponents tackle roll all you want, but if your player doesn't have a great break tackle roll of their own it really won't matter. If there were no other good SA's it wouldn't be a bad option but there are just better options for a Power HB.
I think an Elusive HB with 60+ balance and 85+ elusive running could maybe make good use of Stiff Arm, but then again other SA's, like Juke, and Surge, exist. And even though Spin is kind of weak it's still better in that it allows your HB to avoid the tackle altogether. Maybe a S* Elusive RB, but I don't know. I think the SA can't compete with the other options.

Actually looking at it now, I kind of do want to make an Elusive S* RB with Gold Stiff Arm, and Juke, and Silver Spin, and Surge.
Could end up actually being a great build.

If I had a second team to run, I'd test this theory. Maybe I can roll a non star and see if it can work, if I knew for sure I'd do it on a star next season.
