Bort-Corndog,

I'm just kind of curious from a math perspective.

In the HoF listing, for the Top 3 players stats (and categories) are included. Since the categories are usually in different orders for those three players, is it safe to assume that the order of the rankings is based on the "score value" of the stats in that category?

For example: In the HoF WR listing, the current order is Sedita, Latimer, Belgarion.

For each of them, Receiving Yards is listed first.
Second is Receiving TDs.
Third is YAC for Sedita and Latimer, but 1stDn for Belgarion.
Fourth is 1stDn for Sedita and Latimer and YAC for Belgarion.
Fifth is BrkTk for Sedita, Receptions for Latimer and Belgarion.

If true, then Sedita's 6 BrkTk is worth more than his 244 Receptions. Belgarion has 252 Receptions with 4 BrkTk (how he has 4 broken tackles with 24 Balance I have no idea) which would mean that 252 Rec is worth more than 4 BrkTk.

Also, it would then mean that 244.5 YAC is worth more than 252 Receptions.

I'm wondering if Stobie/anyone could build a huge multi-variable regression model and figure out the formula. Or you could just tell us.

Pretty sure strength of schedule is one of the biggest factors.

I am using a super simple "fantasy points" calc on the stats page I built and seemed to gel a bit with GLB. Not saying they do that, but could be plausible, but I know SoS/Team Peformance plays into it.

All hail Stobie.

100% on SOS being in there. I had several CPU games early and had a HB with way better stats than another team's TE..yet the TE was listed above him in the league HOF. SOS was really the only explanation.

Yac is meaningless. Check hillman's season.

I hope not. I'm building a S* power WR with Gold YAC.

He is referring to the stat being meaningless in the HOF formula GE...not the SA.

I know a S* Power WR will work. I can't wait to try out a build I have in mind.

I would say you could get power running to 90 and sprinting to 90 with room for adequate catching skills and some agility.

and then you'd have a WR that can't break off homeruns and can't break tackles consistently. ie useless

meh, REAL tough unless by adequate you mean 35/40, with not enough in balance to make power running effective

youre silly man, you don't need 100 to hit it. 90 is the point where they start to occur consistently (with 70-80 balance)

I guess you're right there...

My HB on WCBD has had a pretty good brk tkl ratio in Vet with 95 power running tho -

Edit: Do KR/PR broken tackles show up there?
