I recall an occasion from back when I was playing EverQuest. A guy I often gamed with had gotten himself an assistant GM job through a friend who was a GM. He was telling me how he managed to get some item for his Epic Weapon through the use of his GM abilities instead of the standard method all other players undertook. He was so proud of his item, told me how he was better at getting items than others. When I pointed out he cheated, that it was akin to cutting down a tree to get to the top, he shook it off. So you see, to some people, a 255-0 win is the bomb. In their minds, it makes them as good as anyone. If you doubt me, take some time in some of the team forums for teams doing that, read the excitement about their dots dominating for the MVP.

there have been several times I have stated they should do this over the years, and mostly the response is that its up to the user base to figure it out for ourselves. Its jut bad business when you decide to be lazy instead of doing what should be done.

It not a joke. IMO, it's thievery. I'm paying flex to own a team and feel ripped off in seasons when there are few competitive teams.

thats probably because you never win.

if i had to play shitty teams all season for a trophy that means less than they do now.. why would i ever stick around?

Agreed. I have 70k in flex that is unusable because it turns out development of this game was abandoned with no indication or explanation for years. WGG has no moral issue with that because they believe they are still offering similar value because it will work on two other games, 1 being something similar but inferior to my interests and the other being something i have little to no interest in.

I can understand Borts explanation for moving on to a degree. There were still so many items that could have been done to improve this game its frustrating for it to all be blown off .

LOL this pretty much sums up GLB for the past several years.....if it were not for the FLEX purchase trap the game would have died long ago.
