Don't get the SA First Step if your guy is gonna be blitzing in Cover 3 Tiger. It will fire and jack up the blitz:

This kinda sucks cause there is another play where my OLB blitzes and want First Step to fire. Oh well, guess I'll choose another cool SA for my blitzing backer.

Sounds like a good suggestion...have first step not fire on these new motion plays or have it fire just after the snap...

I would love for that to be implemented.

It can't fire after the snap because the speed of the player would be too high, also it would be OP.

That's fine. Just don't let it fire before the snap.

Most likely this is one of those things that's overlooked during development and I doubt they have comprehensive regression testing when making changes. I imagine it would be pretty easy to fix by adding a check to First Step to make sure the ball has snapped.

It would be extremely OP...its bad enough the LBs get a free running start perfectly guessing the snap count. Just get gold tunnel vision if you want the play generate sacks

How is it OP if First Step doesn't fire at all? It is actually a waste of a gold SA on the play.

Also a good waste of energy before the snap. It should not fire at all on that play IMO considering first step is only supposed to fire from a stop or barely moving at all. On the other hand NFL players sometimes do not time the snap quite right either. Really depends on how you want to argue this. LOL
