Hey everyone.

Every now and then I like to reconnect with the users to find out how the tool is doing, where it is lacking, where it excels and frankly just keep my ear to the ground on user opinions.

So what I intend to achieve from this thread is to find out from the user base:
- Do you even know what tool I am talking about?
- What features do you like/dislike?
- What features would you like to see additions/improvements on?
- What additional tools would you like to see added?
- What praises/gripes about the tool you may have?
- Is there anything I can do as the creator to better communicate with the user base?
- Anything else you feel like mentioning, I am open ears.

In advance thank you for any time you spend providing criticism (constructive/positive/negative). Anyone who knows me by now knows that I listen to all that might be mentioned, albeit I may not agree, I do 'hear' you and will give my reasoning on why or why not on the ideas.

I really dislike the feature that causes me to pay $9.99 a season to use the tool. If you can find a way to make that feature non-existent I would really appreciate it.

Seriously, though, the only items I would suggest be added would be game-breaking so I won't even try.

Doesn't matter if they are game-breaking or not. I would like to hear them because you never know if they will spark something that might be game breaking! Do IT!

Something I have been contemplating is creating a competition that gives away a "LIFETIME" membership. Possible competition ideas for me would be creating tutorial videos on how to use the tools.

Not saying I am going to or not going to, but have been thinking about it.

I'd be down to make a tutorial if a lifetime membership was on the line

Plz elaborate? Are you saying you want spider charts and graphical representations of data?

Yep. Building the right visualizations would make it very easy to spot outliers (ie, plays that work/don't work across multiple teams/tiers). You would still have the variable of builds but the primary analysis would be much easier.

Hmm, a Heat Map would be pretty hard to do, but not impossible. You couldn't do actual physical locations of the players and how they travel, but with a large enough sample size it's good enough.

Heat Map for 3WR formations would show what parts of the field that teams offense likes to attack. So WR1 catches the ball on a TE Drive route and gained 15 yards (can't tell YAC from pbp) so that area down by the left sideline gets a circle.

The actual colored Heat Map might be too hard to do, but placing X's and O's on the field should be a bit easier. So against Logzilla, the areas where WR3 travels would be filled. Against, say, PORN, the middle of the field would be jammed with X's and O's. Last year's Veteran #whatever team would have 2WR formation with the right sideline filled with X's and O's while the rest of the field would be much sparser.

It'll help tell DC's that against certain opponents you want to focus on protecting different areas of the field. Or at the least, it'll encourage them to shift their depth chart so stronger cover guys should be lined up in different spots for different defensive formations.

you take your high performance human machine interfacing ideas and shove it! Everyone is used to looking at lists of numbers! That's how we've always done it! I don't want your fancy new qualitative data presentation!

Says my process operators when I update one of their DCS screens at work.

Maybe a way to compare players on the same team by position per game? It's kind of tedious going through CBs game stats to see target to reception ratio for example. Some builds might be performing better than others and those are the ones I would want to focus on and move to better spots or get other players on the team to copy.

I got a feature that would be amazing and probably doable. Team Specific play analyzer. Right now when we scout a team all we get is data on what plays they run and a list of all the plays used against it. I feel that it can be structured like the current play anylzer for a much greater affect than just a list of all the plays. This would allow users to easier identify weaknesses compared to now where its very tedious to break down every play used against it one by one.

I'd disagree with that. It's Yards Per Attempt. Not Yards Per Play.
