...which would you rather have, a S* HB or S* QB.

I know QB's are more expensive.

I would think a running back.. because QB has so many more people to depend on.. lots of dropped passes, sacks, etc.. but if a running back can break a tackle or two there is a chance for a bigger play.. But really, I don't know, I am too new at this game. Just throwing out my .02

Agree. Plus I would be more like run 1st, pass 2nd team....65/35 ish.

HAHA went S* RB over QB. If you want running to be more than just a cute way to pick up a 1st down on 2nd/3rd and short...then you need a S* RB.

That said, having both would be really nice.

S* QB is super unnecessary imo, even if you wanted to go pass ONLY. It's just absurdly expensive and depends on everybody else to be good, just not worth it imo.

BSB does excellent pure pass with normal QB (and ton of S*WR/TE).

Yeah...I really don't think the expensive salary for a S* QB is worth it.

that's cute and all but the S* QB is almost definitely unnecessary.

I would choose the HB given the option, but I would trade both for a S* pass catcher or 2.

There is no way in hell a non s* qb touches pa's numbers in the same offense. Its really that simple, southside thrives because of where it put its s* at (on top of good cordinators).

I think you'd be surprised. You could have an extra s* WR and SS for swapping out the QB.

As a note of similar offenses my team the whales have similar placements on offense except the QB (we only got the s* WR this year)

Taking sophomore comparisons you put up 13049 yards. We put up 13457. Thats without the s* WR.

I much prefer extra S*s in the catching positions to the QB

That stat line is misleading considering you were 66% pass to our 54%. If you look at yards per attempt we beat you both in rushing and passing (4.4 to your 4.3 rushing and 6.5 to your 6.1 passing)

We also had a better comp % 55 to your 52. You did beat us in tds 115 to 110 but i can also probably chalk that up to your split considering you had 33 rushing tds and 82 passing tds compared to our 55 rushing. 55 passing (perfect 50/50 split, thats pretty crazy to get a perfect split like that)
