Good evening everyone. I'm Dee.. I'll be here with you weekly to cover the most exciting and alluring plays known in the GLB2 omniverse! I'll pick one play to cover at a time and keep this thing goin'! So buckle your chinstraps and hang on...this is gonna be a slobbaknocka!!

First up, we have a playoff game between the Southside Rebels and the Dakota Dragons...

Currently Top Play #4

Down by 21 with 19 minutes left the Dragons are feeling the pressure...so is their QB Andy Dalton. He sees the incoming rushers and finds an open HB Ding Jodelski. He chucks and ducks allowing Ding to smash through the initial wall of 3 defenders then shimmy his way around 2 more before shaking off another to take it to DA HOUSE!!

Too bad the Dragons still lost and are out of the playoffs. But it was nice to watch them leave!

I thought this was pretty awesome. The rare and elusive KL/INT-TD. On the front page top plays currently.

Twas pretty sick. I wasn't going to do skirts and shins games but this has made me think otherwise. Thank you good sir.

In today's ladder game with #6 Jman team Music City Miracle vs. #1 Seasoned Blood Sweat & Beers we have an exciting play that I have to mention. It'll never see the light of day in the Top Plays because no broken tackles...

With 3:22 left in the game BS&B goes up 34-24. MCM turns it up and passes it down the field scoring a TD with 1:03 left. On 3rd and 1 with 0:41 left MCM's defense stops TE Corner Threat from converting. MCM gets the ball back and after a 16 yard pass followed by an 11 yard pass with 0:15 left the magic happens, or more like Miracle...

Regardless of the level difference this was an evenly matched game. These are the plays we GLB for!

I support this thread. You might not get a reaction out of them all but itd be nice to highlight playmakers or great strategy. Its hard to find good plays when 3 are just running plays vs CPU teams.

Okay, let's talk about how to build a power back. See I thought not only was 100 power rushing important...so is high balance. WRONG!

Pain Train owns 4 of the top 5 plays right now. Apparently the real game for him is pickup games. Either way look at his conditioning...does that play a huge role? Does the combination of Power Through and Stiff Arm produce that much? He certainly doesn't have the physicals.

I'd like to see Death Tank get 4/5 top plays.

Lot easier when you are balanced to have some big runs, you dont have teams focusing solely on your hbs.

While I totally agree with you guys I think this build teaches us something. Conditioning is VERY important for Powerbacks to sustain long 5+ broken tackle runs. It makes sense now that I think about it but I've always thought 50-60 wa0s enough. Thanks to Pain Train we know what 77 looks like!

Let us also not forget that a balanced off has much less run blocking so defenders get off their blocks much quicker. I see most pass defenses shut down my outside run game with my New and "improved" drunks.

Personally I'll take a build with much better Balance and Sprinting, and about 50 Conditioning.

But isnt this why we all play the game, so we can see a cpu player in a pick up game take a top play spot?
