#1 Flying Spaghetti Monsters vs #6 LogZilla Boys
The matchup everyone has been waiting for...FSM's offense vs LogZilla's defense! Oh wait, that might be boring. Unguided Missile vs LogZilla's 3WR attack! Will Xars keep his normal playbook in there or will he get creative? At this stage I would think he is more likely just to roll with the normal attack. A true match of builds vs builds. This one should be a treat.

#2 Madison Bulldogs vs #4 Richmond Raiders
Tough matchup for Richmond. Madison has yet to allow a rushing team to do much damage to them. This means Richmond's defense is going to have to find a way to keep Madison's dynamic offense to a pretty low score which is a tough task. Is Tdiddy nervous? Damn right he is. But his team is a favorite in this one.

#3 DA vs #22 North Texas
DA dips way down for this one. There were a bunch of teams in this range that we could have pulled and we got one. Not worthy of a write-up though.

#5 GA vs #24 Tampa Sandmen
GA dips way down too. GA is the heavy favorite.

#7 Winnipeg Wrath vs #12 Milwaukee Beers
Both teams have a combined zero yards passing. Who has the better rush defense? Both rushing bars are really high, but Winnipeg has fared much better defensively against rushing teams this season. I give Winnipeg the edge.

#8 Whoville vs #10 MMA
MMA is hanging in the top 10 but is a shell of their former self. Whoville is a solid squad that has the potential to beat anyone. I think this one will be really close.

#9 Mercy Flush vs #13 Long Island Knights
Mercy has played solid all season and LIK has been all over the place. I'll take Mercy Flush by 14.

No other way to test things than to keep the O the same. I've got 3 more seasons at Vet to tinker after this.

Sweet, should be a good week. You have to feel like GA and DA's bottom draws are a prelude to drawing Madison in the next two weeks. Could Madison draw all 4 other Top 5 ranked teams in 4 straight ladder matches? Add in Logzilla in league and that would be a hell of a gauntlet.

Beers vs Wrath is a classic elusive vs power showdown. Wrath's offense seems back on track to what it was in Season 10.

I need to figure out how to score some points against Logzilla.

If Xars really is going to stick with his 3WR stuff, I'll be surprised if Belgarath gets dropped fewer than 10 times.

Prediction: 31-10 FSM win. Couple of easy scores from sack/fumble field position.

I've got a pretty sweet Unguided Missle clone in rookie right now. Looking forward to watching him in action in a couple of seasons.

I am. You can count on it. Just hope FSM doesn't back down from his 90+% Over Will Mike Blitz play selection.

TxSteve - I'm going to spam 5 Offensive plays. AZ is going to spam one. Which is worse for the state of GLB2?

Should be interesting.

Due to the nature of depth charts, builds, and so on...you can't really do more than 1 or 2 plays per formation. Since so few play designs match up well with a teams depth chart. If a team's defense is built to be all around versatile, that changes and you can do whatever you want since broad playbooks aren't an issue. But if you've got a whole lot of players each built in their own specific ways, then depth charts become crucial, which limits your playbook.

Wish I had them mixed in a bit throughout the schedule, but it is what it is

On the positive, late-season SoS might push us ahead of FSM in the ladder (despite them beating us) if tied with the same record. Rooting for Logzilla tomorrow!

that would have GA tied with FSM and Madison... think you'd be ahead in ladder with the same record? You also want Logzilla to beat us 2x (one in a few days, and again in playoffs)

What's the saying about copying someone is the best form of flattery? Anyways, it took till season 11 for the meta about pass defense/roster construction to start shifting.

Wonder what the next meta change will be.

Unguided is the best pass rusher in the game right now, but c'mon now... he's been talked about more just this season than my LB that won #1 Hof 4x over did his entire career

I have no issue passing the torch, but don't forget your elders... Akeem Jordan was the original dominant pass rusher
