Rushing plays wear down the DLine more than passing plays!
In "real football", if the offense ran 60 rushing plays, the defense would be grasping for air and be worn down. This game seems to be the opposite. The more rushing plays, the more tired and worn down the OLine gets. Tackling big backs should take a toll on the defense. I realize that heart and stamina have a lot to do with it, but even if the OLine has high heart and stamina, it seems like the DLine always has more morale and energy at the end of the game.
I will scout a team and see they have 3 DT and 3 DE...and at least one of each of those is a pass rusher. I should be wearing them down by the 3rd quarter. But I look up and that one Nose Guard, who has played the entire game, still has a bunch of energy and morale. Are you kidding me???
