Rebuilt from the ground up? How about rebuild with flex points and with people you know. You need money to play and "WIN".

Free to play? - Only once. But you need money to have fun. You need money to "WIN". You need money to scout using a tool. You need to know people with money to "WIN"

To WIN in this game anymore you have to build your own team around your own players. Or if you have a buddy or two to create some players around the scheme you want.

This season seems to be the worst season ever in recruiting players. You need to know agents and have them create half the team for you to even have a chance to "WIN"

Most players out there now are "garbage" players you can't win with. Most will go inactive in a couple games.

There is not enough Human players, you go to create a player and everything is in High Demand except for QB and HB. You would think GLB2 would throw some more free players out there for us. {I remember when they did this in the beginning of GLB1. Even throwing some free "bonus" flex points.} They sure have become more stiff.

CPU players are not powerful enough to even make a difference. You can't select what you want from CPU players. I wish they were more powerful. I wish you could win it all if you only had CPU players. Haha but not with this game.

You can do all the game planning you want with CPU or shit players but there is only so much you can do.

It sure makes it worthless for owners like me at times like this when there is no one to select from. Makes me feel like I am wasting my effort, time and money to only get shit players. What a "waste" of a season. Oh but next season won't be any better if there was not many players created now.

Just to note: Most of the winning teams only have a few agents.

For Example:
Rookie Top 1: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/1280
Sophomore Top 1: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/1356
Seasoned Top 1: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/161
Journeyman Top 1: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/team/1296 [RARE has many different agents]
Professional Top 1: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/78
Veteran Top 1: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/team/373 [Another RARE one]

I don't know if it is just me but I see a problem.

Sorry but I don't have all the money in the world to support a winning season with buying flex points to create players for my whole team.

I have a life with better priorities I guess.

If you take the time to network with other active agents putting together a team is not a problem.... as far as costing money... do you think the admin have no operating costs? Does the <$5.00 team renewal every 2 months cover those costs? Should they operate as a non profit? You tell me what you want, either you put the bill for creating your whole team, network to find agents willing to make dots for a team, or build through the crapshoot method of signing one shot agents you have no clue will stick around, but I doubt running the entire game out of pocket is on WGs agenda.

I agree with Jag here about needing to suck it up about the pay-to-play though IBS has a point about the CPU players. They don't need to Superstars but they should be at least serviceable and not so much a crap shoot random build roster holder. That way new owners could build their network up while having a semi-competent team and worry more about the supreme puzzle that is game-planning via their playbook & tactics.

also, for someone not looking to pay for something, you are very specific in your expectations of that free thing.

I do agree cpu dots should have some sense of organized builds. You should be able to ask for a passing QB and get a QB that adds passing skills or Power HB and get a somewhat Power Built HB, even if they cant be as good as human(and shouldnt be)

I've been approached by two different people asking me to build a player or two next season. The one team is made up of 11 agents. I've had players on MMARMY for the last something like 7 seasons.

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/768

They win and have a ton of agents.

If you just network you could get on good teams that will be composed of many agents.

Some other teams I have players on:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/990 - 13 Agents - Sophomore 14-1
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/78 - 11 Agents - Pro 13-2

You don't need to pay for an entire team to enjoy the game. I have a friend who only had one player (free) for the last few seasons and he was #1 in the HOF on the top team of the tier.

Networking takes a lot of time and effort. Some just don't have that much time if they have to support a family and have a full time job. If you really like the game like I do it is hard to balance. I wish we could get some stats on this. How many full time workers play this game? Do any of them have a family? How old are the people who play this game? Do they work full time or part time? Do they live life at home with mommy and daddy or own a house- rent? If I was a gambling man I would say most people who play this game are younger that do not have as many responsibilities as a family man supporting a home and a family do. With that said, I do really like this game it is just hard to find the balance between how much I really want to put into networking, effort in scouting/recruiting, and money to purchase flex to keep a team alive and build players.

I am not against not paying. I am against paying and not enjoying it b/c of lack of players. Why should it be the problem of the owner there is a lack of players? It should be a little but in the working but like I said above some just don't want to do it and some just don't have time. I would like to be able to recruit players in the marketplace without asking people to build players for me.
Market place should be greater than asking people to build agent. Is there not enough agents to support this game?
I have purchase my fair amount of flex since this GLB1 and have been purchasing ever since but there is a cap.

This game is kind of like a drug. You are addicted to it so you have to subscribed and pay a fee for it. You only pay for what you want. You only pay for how much you get. You only pay for how much fun you can have. If you don't pay you need more networking to support your habit.

Rookie keyword in that sentence.

Just saying the majority of teams that win have less agents than more.

I know I don't need to pay to fill my roster with my own players to have fun. I have done it in past season.

LoL besides TyDavis and Jhiggs I don't know anyone on here under 21...we're all grown adults with responsibilities and bills. I am 29, have a 2 year old daughter and own/operate a restaurant.

You just have to decide what you want to spend and stick to that number. It gets easier managing your time on here with practice.

34/Solo/Military here. The next few months ought to be interesting as I'll be changing commands and hitting up a whole mess of training/schools. I spend a bit on here as my decompress from the day.

i work an 80 hour work week and mostly play this game via cell phone. It really isn't all that expensive for those with full time jobs. Though definitely understandable that it gets tougher with more agents on a team. The player tactics are absolutely huge from game to game and if you can't handle it yourself or have everyone on the same page it really kills a gameplan.

39 Married with a Family and full time job, I rent our own home no living with anybody, and I work a full time job to support what was 7 kids but 4 are grown out on their own working jobs and making their own families. So yes I understand that priorities have to be maintained, and time has to be managed, but if you have dots on a few multi agent teams I just find its pretty easy to network inside that group to fill teams. I find that once I mention a new team in a few existing team forums its easy enough to fill a team. I probably have a lower flex budget than most active players, but I understand that my investment is the capitol the company needs to operate an no company operates long without profit. Business is business.

Networking doesn't really take a whole lot of time. People post all the time in: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/forum/13490 looking for people to work with them in future seasons. Then once you get a solid group of people eventually you just work together more and more.

If you want to own a team it does take more time and effort but that should be expected. Owners who put in more time than others should and usually are rewarded which makes sense. Most of the good new teams start weeks in advance before actually buying/getting the team. That way they have time to get an idea of who will play with them and what they need to find.

Making a team without a plan and impulsively buying it will just set you up for failure when people have setup stuff weeks in advance.
