In my opinion, it's going to come down to the game planning of YOUR team. If you look, you can almost single handedly knock out 2 teams... the Devils & the Gunslingers, leaving yourself, the SASK & my new 2nd favorite team in this division, the FPP! (Represent Pelicans!)

If I were you, I'd be pouring over game tape, crunching the numbers, seeing whatever I could do to shut these 2 teams down to pave your own way.

Speaking of, back to scouting!

Damn it! Look who we drew for our non-conference opponent at the end of the year!

Our weak ass remaining conference schedule helps our cause well though, the next three games are against teams ranked 12, 15, and 14.

Yeah, don't sweat that game... Playoff practice, plus it helps the rest of the league game plan against them. We all focused on the teams in our conference throughout the season. We know how we game plan, and we kind of know how the other temas game plan. These games are suprisingly constructive in my book, as we get a chance to watch the opposite league play against our game plans. I think you guys can pull that game out too!

Yeah, it counts toward your overall record, but in reality, it's a scrimmage before the playoffs start. I don't think that game counts toward your playoff spot, as it's not a conference game. Not trying to bag on you guys, your team is solid & hopefully we will find out soon who has the better game planning ability, cause that's what it's going to come down to. If I were the MHD though, I wouldn't take the FPP lightly! Man, they have 180'd their team in an awesome manner. Much props to the FPP guys!

Good luck to all in your playoff hopes & runs!

FPP you guys have our respect to be honest i thought you guys wasnt a threat at the beginning of the season but i noticed that you had one hell of a first half of your schedule! you guys will make the playoffs without a sweat pal, that defeat against us really dented our playoff chances, even though its still in our hands!

As a player and GM on the SASK I can only say that I regret we didn't upgrade the OL sooner. We're happy to play however is in our way to a playoff spot.

Tonights game against the Krauts is a key game. Its a tough schedule coming up, but bring it on!

Definitely not taking them lightly, don't worry about that

I noticed FPP earlier than most I think, I've been talking about them to my team on our private forum since week 4.

FPP could be a lot better if everyone would stop intercepting Laser Cannon! Let's all work on that. LOL

just a question for the forum, about this playoff battle in the alpha league.
this is the league now with 1 game left.

6 Florida Parishes Pelicans 9-6-0 L1
7 Thatto Heath Teeth Smashers! 9-6-0 W1
8 South Australian Serial Killers 8-7-0 W1
9 Ohio Valley Ironmen 8-7-0 W6

now earlier in the season i noticed at the time we had an identical win/loss record to S.A.S.K but they were above us in the league, even though we beat them first game of the season.

if F.PP and T.H.T.S lose and S.A.S.K and O.V.I win, what will happen in playoff terms there? i kno thought that T.H.T.S have beaten both S.A.S.K and O.V.I earlier in the season

One thing I was reading in the forums... DON"T TRUST THE TIE BREAKERS! I gues some teams were watching others, hoping they would win to skate into the playoffs and missed. It goes by overall record, then head to head, then most points from what I was seeing.

It wasn't written by the mods, but it was a guy who had been playing since season 1. Take it for what it's worth, just be guarded and do whatever you have to do to win... cue my new theme music... I just became Captain Obvious!
