Do you all think that strip tech would be effective to cause fumbles on a QB? Some think that it really only works in gang tackle situations, but it would seem logical (i know i know) that it would work to strip the ball from the QB on a sack as well.

Or do you think power tackle is the only real fumble cause on QB sacks?

I've seen KLs off of still standing WRs against only a single defender. So my take is it could happen

Both Strip and Power help a lot. Back when I had this guy rushing the passer more, 5 of his 6 fumbles forced were from sacks. He had 60ish Strip Tech with zero Power Tackling investment at the time.

That's a pretty good rate. I guess it does impact initial impact.

Most of them were probably half sacks.

Even if they are all half sacks, that is a FF every 8 sacks.

Correct, it was that season.

Strip tech works on any tackle. It's the SA, Opportunist, that only works on a gang tackle.

Pretty rare for a gang tackle to last longer than a tick or two as well from what I see in the sim, which means Opportunist only really inflates your strip technique for that brief moment when it fires.

My blitzing CBs will end with decent strip tech and silver Opportunist.

Worth an experiment I suppose, but before you spend on that SA, see how many split sacks your corners are even getting.

I avoid strip tech like the plague on blitzers... and have has some of the highest FF numbers in GLB2 with my guys... just saying

there are two attributes that I am pretty sure are WAY better at forcing fumbles on sacks than strip tech

Just added 4 sprint. Now they are at 60 quick, 57 sprint, 40 dive, 30 strip and silver 1st step. Time to get some sacks and FFs.

Highly doubt you would get to PORN or Ashland quick enough to cause much trouble considering the holes you're gonna have in your D from the zone blitzing
