Warrior General Games

Obviously I'm a bit biased but I'd like to thing the Hedgehog Mafia is the favorite.

In USA I think Hedgehog Mafia and Nomad Nation will probably be the favorites, though there are some teams I don't know well admittedly.

In Canada I honestly have no idea. Cobden kinda are what they are so it'd surprise me if they take down Canada. Acme has the highest effective level and some real dotbuilders. E-city has always been solid with some solid WL runs. The Monks have real history and are just all hitting plateau so maybe they are the favorites? Ice Dragons also have a solid EL.

So Canada looks wide open and admittedly I'm not as familiar with a lot of teams in this league. With us playing everyone 1-2x it will be interesting, especially when some times split games with each other.

Stupid CPU team messes it up a little but what can you do.

I'm telling you, USA could end up being a meat grinder.

Minnesota was a juggernaut last season, and I was surprised they didn't end up in WL.

The Choppers are innovators, always a very tough game, and they're run about as solidly from the top down as any team I've ever been affiliated with. Plus they have a bunch of my dots, so they've got that going for them.

Not sure where the Copperheads are at right now competition-wise, but they've earned respect through the seasons and it wouldn't surprise me a bit to see them make a push.

And my Mountain Men have been Top 3 (including one season being undefeated) in the Pro Leagues each season we've been here, but can't get over the playoff hump.

I wasn't surprised. Spaniard Kings had our number. Not too shabby for a team with a basic offense and no semblance of a plan on defense (what Kboum has done with it is incredible).

Even with all the former World League teams here now, if they had put off the league restructuring one more season, we'd have walked into WL last season, so I'm not all that worried about former WL teams.

It'll sure be interesting to play a team potentially 3 times in one season, just in league competition. I wonder how drastic people are going to be changing up gameplans for each matchup.

Back to the point of this thread, it wouldn't surprise me to see Minnesota win the regular season title, then lose in the conference finals, as is our norm. If nothing else, at least we are consistent.

That this is will be a tough conference is an understatement.
After all, who wants to play Chicago, Columbus and Nomads twice? I mean I don't even want to play Cambodia or Minnesota twice. Factor in there's at least 3 scary teams in the Canadian Conference I don't even want to play once!

My forecast is short and simple: No one is going 16-0. Neither is anyone going 0-16. In fact there is going to be some serious interest in refreshing our collective memory how playoff tie breakers work come s48 g12.

It's at least enough to add some intrigue, even if we eventually end up getting beaten to a pulp by the demoting big dogs. No matter where I was coming from, or which team I had in this division, I think I'd be careful guaranteeing a win against anyone.

Sry for my arrogance. Coming off 4 WL seasons and being used to tearing through USA since like season 12, I guess the confidence comes with it. Add in the fact that we went 8-8 in WL last season when chem-fucked, and our roster is the best we've ever had (now as a part of Agency), I feel pretty confident.

It's tough to go 16-0 but let's just say I expect to make the playoffs. I do welcome the challenge and there's a reason we play the games.
