They're usually more competitive than league games, unless you have a fairly strong league.

If you don't care about ladder games .... Then why care about league games ? If you win either, the reward is basically the same, you get an image of a trophy for your team, the difference is what it says. Ladder games are used to determine the best team(s) in the tier, not just your league, but all leagues of that tier.

yeah, that's in the eye of the beholder.
The ladder trophies are more relevant now with the reset elo at each tier. It'd indicate you have the best team in your tier instead of just a single league. It's what's replaced world league ultimately.

because league games are in real football and in GLB1.....

Highschool format is basically a ladder system. You just play a bunch of random teams in your area, and then your relative rating is based on how well your local teams did against other teams, and playoff seeding is based on that with most of the teams in the playoffs not being your local teams.
