wondering what the number is cause death tank is for sure hitting 500 and possibly 600 if he averages 17 broken tackles per game for the rest of the season .http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/97370

He will probably end with the most broken tackles in a season. But his season looks to be subpar in comparison with Imani Cross's season 7.

667 carries, 524 broken tackles

Tank

889 carries, 487 broken tackles

i dont know what the seasons looked like for imani but this season Tank is only a Pro and almost every ladder match is vs veteran teams from the jump as GA has been the #1 team in tier forever. that has to be accounted for, not to mention how much defenses have tried to build to stop power backs as of late...TRIED i know lol

Imani Cross - Non-SS
Tank - SS

That probably needs to play a factor...

Season 7 - Imani Cross (and the rest of the team) were pros playing almost every game up a level to Vet.

I don't know where we were in the ladder that season - but we were within striking distance of #1.

Cross had:
15 broken tackles in a loss vs #1 Hawaii Bulls
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/120718

19 vs an auto piloting (but not gutted) top 5 Queen City (maybe #1 at that point...I'm not sure)
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/126827

25 vs a #1 (I think) New Jersey General - right before this game the guy who owned the Generals said in the forums "you guys seriously think a pro team is going to beat me??"
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/127474

15 vs a top 5 salty runback
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/125334

I'll stop there -but we faced numerous top 10 opponents in our season 7 -- so there is nothing 'fluffy' about the competition Cross faced.

Going to probably get tougher to do the further we move the ladder k value.

Yeah, Death Tank's ratio isn't as good as some others have done previously.

He's facing different defenses these days too though, and a tougher sim for rushing than existed even two seasons ago.

He'll get better as he finishes the build with what I know temujin has planned for him, but nobody will probably duplicate what Cross was able to do a few seasons ago. Cross literally feasted on a mostly "unprepared to tackle powerbacks" set of veteran teams.

A RB in your own division is having a better season stats wise:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player_stats/98480
597 rushes with 573 broken tackles.

Wrath's backs are redonkulous.

that season was really pre defenses building to stop run like they do now in the secondary

yeah he breaks more tackles and as far as this thread goes he wins, but I think that is in large part due to the playcalling of GA vs WW (they go outside way more where Death is rolling from GL/Big I fronts up the gut a lot, and the fact that I have Death Tank soooooooo much faster than Stubs or almost any other power back out there so when my guy breaks 1/2 tackles he doesn't get caught from behind to break 2/3/4 more like this play http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/168777/2242355

Running inside is why he is breaking so many tackles compared to the general population of HB's. While it is easier to break the CB's tackles its that first level of dlinemen and LB's that allow you to shed more tackles overall.

Hell Imani probably got like half his broken tackles rocking off tackles from GL back in season 7.

Who was the HB that played on a CPU team a few seasons back that would have like 3-4 of the top plays each week?

I think I disagree with that. Death is facing more DLineman/MLBs to break tackles, where on the outside it is a guarantee to get a couple from OLBs, CBs, safeties
