For a non S* CB how would you rate this build?

Should I have tried to get deflecting and footwork caps higher and spent less on tackling skills?

I don't think anyone would recommend you go lighter on tackling these days.

If it's only at 40, I do. Either go big or it's not worth the points.

36 tackles to 6 missed is a pretty good 17.5% for Vet IMO. Season 8 he was at 56/1.

Who is he tackling? WRs or HBs?

He doesn't play the run much if I can help it.

Solid build. The reception rate allowed is kind of strange. I would think he would have done better.

I would have went with less vertical and a bit more deflecting, but I think the biggest thing that could have been changed was the starting attributes. Having strength at 3 was kind of pointless since Power tackling is at 30 and Hold ground is at 20. I would have put that at 1 and took agility to 10.

Covering WR3 most of the time I bet. I had a CB that allowed less than 50% completions until I matched him up consistency on WR3. His allowed percentage went up nearly 10 points.

He never covers WR3.

WR2 in a league with teams that use screens frequently?

Yeah, you can give up bad rec allowed % against WR2 for sure playing a few screen spammers.

Yeah that's a solid build, rng is just a bitch

I thought it was decent but this seasons reception rate had me thinking otherwise. I probably should have gone with lower strength when creating.

Probably right there. I think the receptions allowed rate is a result of bad luck and bad coaching.
