...on the Offense Tactics "Trailing" tab? I mean defense can only set one tactic, so why do we need so many choices on offense?

Just curious...maybe there is a reasonable answer for that

agreed, there are too many. it takes a degree in formal logic too understand why some plays are called.

You ask dumb questions. Are tactics too hard for you? It's four sets of 4th down scenarios. I would expect you to cry about something like this.

Yes, what we really need is less tactical control over what happens in the sim.

No you jerk, im asking whats the reason for that stuff if defense plays the same plays anyway???you have 4th and short tactics for 4th and short. It doesnt matter if you trail One or 2 TDs, you want the first down

Those tactic scenarios are still different situations where maybe you want to be more or less aggressive. I know my tactic set up there is not the same typically. Hardly seems like something that should be removed as not every 4th down is the same.

Only on defense I suppose, where we are left to believe every 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th down calls for the same tactics no matter the game situation.

that is exactly my point...if defenses cant adjust then there isnt a point offense adjusts imo

Defensive tactics and offensive tactics are apples and oranges. Instead of calling for a scale back on one of the very few things that offenses have control over why not post a thread asking for a trailing big and leading big section for defensive tactics. I know it has been brought up before but asking for reduced control in any tactics is going the wrong direction. As it stands now how often does an offense actually fire these circumstances anyway? I would be pretty pissed my team is down late in a game with limited time (more than a 1st down is needed as you need a big chunk of yards for a miracle couple of TDs) and my team simply plays it safe to convert each time which is only going to drain the clock more. On the other side of that if it is early in the game and I am down big and going for it on 4th down then I don't really need to hit home runs.

I agree, was probably the wrong thread to do so. But, I was using the silly complaint about too much control of the offense to point out the obvious deficiency in defensive tactics.

dude...where did I say remove the tactics?! I asked for a reasonable answer as there is no difference on the defense you face.

Asking why we need so many choices on offense is leaning towards the remove them statement Peeti. You question why something is needed when you feel that it is not really needed. Poor wording on your part if you were trying to get a different message across.
