Remember the excitement when these two teams faced off last season? Unfortunately that excitement has faded. Air Raid's best days are probably behind them. They have lost more games than they have won and they don't have a good run D. Stunners by at least 30.

#2 Harrisonburg vs #6 Djibouti Assassins
This will be a marquee matchup. DA recently knocked off the Stunners and would love nothing more than to take down Hburg and end their streak too. The last time these two teams faced off it was an instant classic. Get your popcorn ready!

#7 Run GLB vs #21 Wesley Chapel Warriors
WCW has been very impressive offensively but mediocre defensively. They have lost some close games along the way. Unfortunately, Run GLB and their strong run D is a bad matchup for them. It could get interesting if the Run GLB offense sputters, but I doubt it.

#11 Minnesota Balanced Raid vs #22 Whoville Whos
Unfortunately .Ninja is no longer with us. It appears that Tezed has taken over this MBR team and very impressively since they only have 1 loss on the entire season. Whoville was recently on the undefeated countdown but has lost two now. The key factor will be whether or not Tezed gameplans. Might be close.

#17 DD vs #16 Stoners
If I don't pick the Stoners it's because I am underrating their greatness, but if they lose it's because CBomb didn't gameplan. I would think DD should take this one but the Stoners are very unpredictable.

Rushing vs Passing. Smashing and clashing! Boom! Which style will emerge?

Give Whoville some credit. They just knocked off Run GLB. That was a big win. I wanted to find a thread to bring it up but we don't care about Vet league anymore in this place.

yep, will probably be another instant classic, I doubt a blowout either way... voted them #2 in the last poll, so obviously I think they can beat us. We'll have to be on our A game if we're going to win... that means Yukiko can't throw picks, can't have a ton of drops, and our defense will have to show up on 3rd downs.

yep, I mentioned how I thought Whoville was just outside the top 10 last week, and included them on my top 10 poll. This "upset" isn't totally shocking. They and two or three other teams further down the ladder are pretty legit.

so once an owner goes inactive, a HC/GM can still gameplan? I didn't think that was the case

if so, MBR will still be very solid this season

They can still game plan but all DCs go to default I believe.

More than anything it was play selection, that HB Clear Out play is terrible vs the Tiger blitz. Once the sim realized TE Drive was the better play the offense started clicking.
