I've created my rookie team...Every game these guys gain exp and I distribute the pts throughout their attributes..Ok Is there anything you guys do..like permanent boost through the season to help these guys develop. So later you have some really decent player..or you just keep going with the pts given for exp after each game...If you do permanent boost..How often during the season? What are things to do to make your players good for the long haul..Seasons to come....What are the things to think about early on in the rookie yrs

Personally I save up two games worth of SP once skills start getting above approx 800 each to buy. Prior to that though, I spend those SPs.

Obviously, what you invest in depends on position and role in the team

Early in Rookie, the golden rule is Conditioning to 30 asap.

Thanks...I've been training my guys to conditioning. I understand these these guys will stay with me throughout the seasons as our team moves up in tier, Just trying to make sure there are not things I should be doing in player development early on, that would hurt them in later seasons

The wonderful thing about rookie is at the end of the season before their sophomore season starts, you can respec them for free (assuming you haven't already) and start over if you feel that you've made a drastic error. After sophomore you're stuck with the SP you've allocated in rookie and only get a chance to respec the SP you've assigned at sophomore and so on...

As for using the SP boosts, that's up to you. It will add skill points that you can spend for the cost of flex.

There's 24k SP available from boosts. You also add 1 extra game to your players career at veteran for each boost. If you purchase all 12 boosts, you get 5k bonus SP and an additional 18 games for a total of 1 full extra season at veteran, and 29k extra SP over a non-booster, which is something like 15% more SP than a nonbooster.
