From a scrim today, QB has 27 pass power...

Could that be anymore perfectly led?

I mean, what?

It seems that pass power means pass it over the receiver's head...

I settled on 50, there is definitely something in the Pass Deflection interaction that is taking into account pass power but it's obvious imo at this point that it's not significant enough to push Pass Power ahead of Technique / Accuracy / Awareness or even consistency. I think having better WR's who can catch the ball more than makes up for low pass power as well.

I know some of the other top tier QB's are built a little differently than me, but that's been my experience. The cap is also difficult to work with too. I don't think you have a lot of attribute points to sacrifice to strength in an ideal build, so now you're talking cap boosters to get to an interesting level of pass power (70?) which is hard to find.

I settled on 50 as well. Plus underthrown balls are pretty tough to stop.

It is a pretty tough assessment. The underthrown balls are really hitting DC's hard in the nuts because coverage is a little bit wonky but I am not gonna completely advocate for it because at any point in time that can be fixed and pass power really does have its merits. So you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Hopefully you get to the vet level and that rock and hard place are hey should I take pass power from 50 to 70 or should i take some bullshit skill up? Because I could very easily see the short bullshit ended real quick.

I have a 98 pass power experiment going. He will very likely stink but I just want to see what it looks like. I havent actually done the maths yet to see if i have enough sp left to get him there...

There are advantages and disadvantages to lower pass power, just the same with higher pass power. When starting a new team one should think about how they want the passing offense to look, and then build the playbook and wide receivers to match the QB's power.
