I've always assumed the SBB and BI are in the same(Big) category in the Defensive Playbook.

But one is 2wr and the other is 1wr, which makes a difference. I can use the 4-4 Big against Goal Line, but not against Big packages, because SBB will produce a mismatch on the 2nd WR if a 4-4 Big Play is called.

Am I correct in these assumptions? Is there a way to get the 4-4 Big to come up against BI but not SBB?

As far as I know there is no way to differentiate between the two.

Both are 2 TE sets for defensive playbook consideration in my experience.

So - I'm not aware of any way to differentiate between Big I and Singleback Big
