Should be some fun ones:

Hydrogen:
Fort Collins vs Run GLB - I expect Run GLB to win handily - but if we can get Chronic into the watch party it would be fun.

Monroe:
Stunners vs MMA - generally always play close but MMA is dealing with a lot of chemistry issues (but also assume improved builds on those players).

Orion:
Richmond vs DD - I've never watched Richmond to be honest - but it is a 9 vs 15 trophy matchup

(side note: Doinitin Djibouti / Air Raid / Richmond / Nashville Sounders: 2 or 3 don't make the playoffs...crazy)

I'm kinda excited to see how the ladder flow works this season with an increased k-value. Could potentially sort of the 'which league is best' question.

I'm curious too - good point. I'll make a thread to try and track it.

That Gamma division is going to be brutal, I thought the Sounders would be one of the teams left out of the playoffs. Either Richmond or Air Raid is going to start 0-2 now, really putting their chances at the playoffs in jeopardy.

Have I previously mentioned how much I love the dumpster game mechanic that is chemistry? I feel like I've not said enough about it in the past.

Breaking in a new defensive coordinator today too and probably should've done some scrimmages to cull a few pieces of garbage from the offensive playbook. It is what it is.

Nashville isn't a bad team either, they beat up on me pretty good in a scrim.

If these first match-ups in Orion are any indication of the level of vet games we are going to get this season, it's going to be fun.

(but on the plus side, your run defense / new coordinator apparently held them to 1 yard on 9 carries...that is pretty impressive

I shouldn't throw Galithor under the bus, I almost lost to the Tampa Sandmen (global rank 32). We scored with 19 seconds to go and made a 2 pt conversion in order to tie it up. Then won in overtime.

Looking at the statline in the box score you'd never know we had to come back and steal it. 40 minutes time of possession and 500+ yards on the ground. Meanwhile Tampa just breached 300 yards and was 17/37 passing and rushed for 4 yards per carry.

One thing I will say for other teams in their territory. Their defense was just SO random. It was a situation of calling everything under the sun to create a scenario where they won't get hammered regardless of what gets called. It's nothing you'd be a GREAT defense with, but with decent dots you would never have a BAD defense with it. We also fumbled the ball 5 times, so maybe I should retract that once they get whomped lol.
