You can ditch the return awareness. It's really not necessary.
Doing one today, I'd probably opt for a powerback myself. They won't path out of bounds as often and you can catch more teams with poor tacklers on their ST unit to punish.

Good points. So I won't need to put points in return awareness at all? I'll use the stam points to up str and us workhorse then

As long as he is a power runner no none in return awr. I would only say go into return awr. If your trying to make him extremely fast and a elusive runner

So if I where to try this, What is minimum Speed, Carry Grip, Balance, Quick/footwork, and the important skills
50sp,30qui,30FW,69Balance(Cap)85Power,60Carry Aware and Grip,40Heart,58/59Conditioning/Tough(Both capped). Would any of these be enough? I would still have 8k and have also got some pass catching skills to fit better in a balance team(50 Hands, CiT and around 40 for others)
I looked a ways back and cant find any Power Back discussion

I definitely agree with Gal. Powerbacks are waaay better than elusives in the return game. WRs Power running is too expensive so HB is certainly the way to go. For a balanced team make sure you have your best run blockers on STs.

ditch the quickness and footwork for more balance and power running.
Dee's guy linked above is the current HOF #1 ST return guy. And even that build isn't optimal for it. He's got two silver SAs that are totally useless on returns. Blocking skills and quickness/footwork that could be turned into more balance/power running/sprinting/conditioning/toughness/intimidation.
