Hey there I am pretty new to this game and was looking for some help trying to build my players. I feel like they aren't getting the production they should except for my DT who I tried to kind of model after a Aaron Donald kind of build.
This is the DT

My other two players are a TE who I had in mind being a Dallas Clark reliable receiver and a between the tackle north south runner Jamal Lewis type.

The HB

The TE

For us to see your builds you need to open them, to do that on your player's profile page click the settings tab, the gear icon under your players name.

After that find Attribute Sharing then in the dropdown select "Everyone can view my players attributes". Then people can comment on your builds.

An important thing to keep in mind about all of your players is their stat caps. (Took me several seasons to learn this and figure it out) You'll have to play around with your players attributes to get their skill caps higher without sacrificing too much in others. For example your tight end. To be reliable he will need a lot of strength for catch in traffic, and confidence for receiving grip & consistency and toughness, but then you have to figure out what do you want to sacrifice...

If you sacrifice awareness he won't be able to run good routes, if you sacrifice conditioning then he'll get tired and struggle towards the end of games, etc etc...

The best way to learn is trial and error from yourself, and getting yourself on a human team and learning from others. There are some really good people on here with build experience that can provide better info than myself. Browse the forums and you'll find a lot of good info, but if you go too far back you might be in a different meta and what applied back then may not be so good in the current meta.

My advice would be to either stick with those players see what works and what doesn't, or retire them now and try to get on a rookie team with experienced agents that can help you out and are willing to share their builds with the team and learn from what works and what doesn't.

Do you know how to get on human teams?

Interesting take on players! I definitely have lurked the forums quiet a bit and feel like I might want to retire some of players. But I may just wait and play them out to see if I can salvage them. Maybe take notes and try to understand where I went wrong and what I could do better for my next players. As for getting recruited to a team with human agents I am unsure how do I do that?

Also thank you so much for the advice you have given me. You're a great community member!

The best way is to go to the Players Looking for Teams forum and post your players, also go to the Teams Looking for Players forum on here and see if there are any teams looking for what you want. I think the Marketplace is being overhauled next season so maybe that will be a viable option, but for now not too many people use it.

It's much better than playing for CPU teams.

Thanks for the kudos.

I see you posted in the teams looking for players forum. You want to post in the generic Players looking for Teams forum and the Sophomore subforum since your players will be sophomores next season.
