Hell yeah!

This is a pretty good batch of ladder matches.

#1 Stunners vs #11 Rhode Island Falcons
These two teams faced off not too long ago and the Stunners dominated the 2nd half like they normally do and cruised to an easy victory. Rhode Island has a puncher's chance, but not much of one.
Interest level: 6

#2 Air Raid vs # 14 Alaskan Assassins
The top two passing attacks in Vet finally get to face off. Get ready for some fireworks!
Interest level: 10

#3 Harrisonburg Bulldogs vs #19 DD2.0
What a matchup! DD2 and their awesome defense gets to try to slow down Harry's lethal attack. Two active coordinators are going to really get after it in this one.
Interest level: 9

#4 Salty vs #20 Jersey Goons
Salty is still hanging on to that #4 spot even though they probably don't deserve it. Meanwhile, Jersey is probably right around that 20-25 range. Nothing much to see here.
Interest Level: 3

#5 MMA vs #8 Queen City
Another great matchup! Queen City has been laying waste to opposing defenses and gets to face off against a decent run D. Can MMA slow them down? We will see.
Interest level: 9

#6 Stark vs #23 Generals
Bye week for Stark.
Interest level: 0

#7 Ronin vs #12 Virgins
Two rush teams facing off. The Virgins offense is better, but the only thing that would give me pause from declaring them a blowout victor would be their run D. Ronin may be able to keep it close....or they may not.
Interest level: 7

#9 Nightmare vs #27 LUE LUE
LUE LUE just gave up over 100 in their last ladder game. Nightmare just beat Salty. I like the Nightmare.
Interest level: 4

#10 Legacy vs #15 Run Defenders
Two proud teams fighting to remain relevant.
Interest level: 6

#13 MoD vs #25 Jebs
Not entirely sure what to expect, but I would give a slight edge to MoD
Interest level: 5

#17 Run GLB vs #34 Minnesota Balanced Raid
Two friends facing off! .Ninja and Tezed get to see who can out think themselves and each other. MBR is at #1 in Pro tier, but are going to have a tough time knocking off Run GLB.
Interest Level: 7

7:00 Alaska Assassins #14 vs #2 Air Raid - the long awaited battle of two top passing attacks

9:00 Run GLB 17 vs Minnesota Balanced Raid 34 (pro) - first pro team to draw a top ranked vet team - might be fun.

12:00 MMA vs Queen City

14:00 Harrisonburg #3 vs DD 2.0 @ #19 - in spite of the 16 ladder slot difference...this could be a good one

18:00 stunners vs RIF - stunners get their 2nd rematch of this season 9 ladder season - these teams just played a week or so ago

Nice write ups and the interest level is a nice addition as well. My eyes will be on AA/AR. Been waiting for this matchup for quite sometime!

Saving the exciting Alaska vs Air Raid matchup for the last possible matchup option for Air Raid before season finishes with ladder rematches?

Random ladder my ass!

Personally, I'm just glad to get to kickoff to a team, and finally not be concerned about how badly my defenders are going to be brutalized by the return team.

doesnt sound logical. Dont u have the same Players in your KO team vs KOR Teaam as you have in your normal defense vs enemy offense? How can the single ST there be any worse?

Their Return team isn't filled with max run block tech/run block power gold pancake chef, silver/gold get low, silver/gold beat down builds. They're a passing team.

I know...Maybe I didnt make that clear, but I talk about games in which you actually care, so heavy run teams.

You're right. You're not being clear at all.

Your KO players facing all run KO Return players is the same situation as your defense facing an all run offense. So stop crying about those few STs in there and fix your horrible defense

Dude. Fix your depth chart and your roster. Your kick off coverage team consists of:

2 cornerbacks
2 free safeties
2 strong safeties
2 defensive ends (pass rushing)
2 defensive tackles

Why aren't your linebackers on special teams? Because you only have 4?

I just watched your 6 kickoffs from our most recent game. Who got pancaked on your kickoffs?
kickoff 1:
DE (twice)
SS
FS
FS

Kickoff 2:
SS
CB
FS
FS
K

Kickoff 3:
DE
DE
CB
FS
FS

kickoff 4:
CB
FS
FS

kickoff 5:
DE
CB
FS
SS

Kickoff 6:
SS
CB

Totals:
Pass rushing DEs: 5 pancakes in 6 kickoffs
Strong Safeties: 4 pancakes in 6 kickoffs
Free Safeties: 9 pancakes in 6 kickoffs
CB: 5 times
Kicker: 1 time
-------------------

So all of your crying is LITERALLY: "O Linemen are pancaking my cornerbacks and safeties on kickoffs....this isn't fair!"

Put your LB's on kickoff returns -- remove free safeties from kick off returns - remove your pass rushing DE -- remove your strong safeties.

This consultation is free to you. If you want more - send me a coaching offer and make it a good one.

(I didn't look very closely at my kickoffs to you...but the one I did see had one of my CB's who isn't even a run stopping CB instantly pancaking one of your o-lineman -- that o linemen must have almost no balance....where did all of his skill points go??)

Gonna have to agree with Peeti here. Normally you complain about your pass blocking line on kicks that you are returning. But complaining about kicks that you are kicking off is a defense problem and probably a depth chart problem.

Other obvious solution: get a kicker who kicks touchbacks.

So - in the 1 game vs Air Raid - when Air Raid kicked off - stunners got a total of 24 pancakes on 6 kickoff returns -- so 4 pancakes per kickoff.

Comparing that to stunners vs alaska earlier this season:

9 kickoffs. 6 touchbacks.
On the 3 returns:
2 pancakes (FS/DE)
1 pancake (CB)
4 pancakes (CB/FS/CB/K)

7 pancakes on 9 kickoffs for .77 panacakes per kickoff (20% of what Air Raid saw). Take away the touchbacks and 7 on 3 kickoffs - 2.5 per -- almost 40% fewer than air raid. So certainly builds have something to do with it.

I see that you did bring in a kickoff specialty at some point this season (his build is open by the way) - but I guess his chem was low when we played which led to no touchbacks.
