My QB is getting sacked like crazy - how to build to fix it?

What areas should I focus in improving? I get the same amount of snaps as the other QB on our team - but he gets sacked maybe once or twice - and I always get sacked a dozen times a game. We run the same plays and we have the same ratings in all attributes so I have no idea what to increase. Any ideas? The other QB's team chemistry is 98 and mine is 62 - is that part of it?

My build:

Any advice is appreciated thank you.

the chemistry definitely doesn't help.

There's a number of factors:

- pass awareness (finding targets quickly)
- pocket awareness (finding pressure and appropriate scrambling path to buy time for pass awareness to find a target)
- footwork (ability to actually buy time with that pocket awareness knowledge)
- WR mobility (if your WRs can't get far enough in routes quickly enough, or acquire much separation, you're likely going to have a tougher time getting a good pass awareness read)
- Blocking (spin cycle negates a blocker eventually, but good pass blocking will regularly buy you more time in the pocket)
- morale/energy/chemistry (having lower values on any of the bars will decrease your skills)
- playcalling (not all plays have routes that are created equal for getting open sooner in a play progression. Some plays are longer developing)

Galithor mentioned some good things to be aware of that will effect how often you get sacked but there is something else that can cause you to just get sacked like crazy, especially at rookie level. What is this player's "roll out" tactic set to? If you have it set to either sometimes or frequently I'd highly advise you to move to "almost never." At early levels, all this tactic will do is make the QB scoot either left or right in the pocket as he's looking downfield and he'll get sacked by either the left or right DE. Later on you can somewhat get away with having a QB roll out more if you have really good pass blockers but even then it's not generally worth it.

Yeah, I forgot about the rollout tactic. It's pretty much useless to do anything that is other than almost never.
