This week we have a few movers! Most notably - the top three has changed. In addition to that, we have some teams really establishing themselves as we head closer to the playoffs. It seems like the #6 to #10 spots could basically be interchangeable at this point.

Gorgon League Power Rankings:

1. Los Santos Kings (15-4, 7-3) [#4 Tier] - The stifling defense of Los Santos has continued to give migraines for fellow coordinators in Gorgon. With Ann Arbor's loss to Western Mass this weekend, that allows the Kings to move to this week's #1 spot.

2. Western Mass Monstars (14-5, 8-2) [#7 Tier] - A huge win by the Monstars moves them up to the #2 spot. These guys are not only rolling in league, but also moving big in the ladder. If Western Mass can avoid the trap game loss against Texas City- And Deadman loses to Ann Arbor this coming weekend, the Monstars can pretty much punch their ticket to the playoffs.

3. Ann Arbor Wolverines (14-5, 8-2) [#9 Tier] - Three weeks ago, the Ann Arbor Wolverines looked unstoppable. Fast forward to now, they've lost 2 of their past 3 games. With Deadman, Los Santos, and The Fish left on their schedule, Ann Arbor has to wonder if they're going to slide right out of the playoffs.

4. Deadman Genesis (12-7, 7-3) [#17 Tier] - After a virtual bye against the Unsavory Cupcakes, Deadman shifts their focus to a huge game against Ann Arbor. If you win, you're hot on the heels of Western Mass for a playoff spot. Lose, you're virtually eliminated. No pressure.

5. The Fish (12-7, 6-4) [#21 Tier] - The Fish are looking better and better every game. They seem to be peaking at the perfect point in the season. As it stands, The Fish remain 2 games behind Ann Arbor and one game behind Los Santos. With a loss to Deadman and Western Mass, they will need to win Beta to be in the playoffs.

6. Swamp Donkeys (10-9, 6-4) [#38 Tier] - The Donks have lost 3 of their last 4 and will play another tough league game against Roman Testudo next week. Right now they're still solidly in the playoffs as the Alpha champion. HOWEVER, Michigan is slowly creeping up at only 2 games behind.

7. Michigan Madness (10-9, 4-6) [#34 Tier] - A quality win over a good Testudo team moves the Madness up to #7 this week. As was previously stated, they are not out the playoffs just yet.

8. Roman Testudo (11-8, 5-5) [#30 Tier] - It's been a roller coaster ride for the Roman's this season. At 5-5, their playoffs hope have all but shriveled up. Even if they win out, the Testudo need about 12 small miracles to happen.

9. Cleveland Vindicators (10-8-1, 5-5) [#30 Tier] - Cleveland is one of three teams that are now mathematically eliminated from Playoff contention. Watch for the Vindicators to shake up the playoff race by playing spoiler in their next 4 games.

10. Texas City Gamblers (7-12, 3-7) [#57 Tier] - 86-0. Ouch. Also with that loss they join Cleveland, Delaware, and the Gentleman on the couch for this season's Gorgon League Playoffs.

11. Delaware Jaguars (5-12-2, 1-9) [#68 Tier]- Half their team is under 50 chemistry... what else do you expect?

12. Unsavory Gentleman (5-13-1, 0-10) [#71 Tier] - https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQW5OOnmopFnURZ7pKEAsX9KRuqAI1HflYxc9mHg8tPiLJhkVyivg

You may want to rethink your playoff predictions. I plan on making if to the playoffs; need to settle some unfinished business with the Donkeys and Los Santos. Definitely won't be losing as bad, seeing as I think our run defense has officially reached superstar status.

Well, better gear up your pass offense. You've got Ann Arbor up next. As I said, you lose that game - you're out!

I love challenges. Well beat us by 2 early in season.,..now builds are slowly kicking in and our team is only 60% of what we will be by playoff time...

Im not speaking further but please understand western mass is not no easy lunch

Best games are the division games. Hopefully Gamma stays this interesting for the entirety of Gorgon.

I think everything will depend on the final round of divisional games, Beta & Gamma are both very tough divisions. there isnt an easy game in Beta, testudo (currently 4th in division) could conceivably beat any of the other 3 teams, as could The Fish, Ann Arbour & the Kings, so Beta is far from settled...but i would predict the Kings at #1 come playoffs, it all depends on who beats Ann Arbour as to the #2 place in Beta...i expect Ann Arbour to retain the playoff spot, but with a L to Deadmen and the Kings likely/possible Ann Arbour have to beat the Fish in week 12 to stay in the hunt for the WC Spot. The Fish have to win out to stand a chance, which is unlikely, they also have to hope AAW beat the Deadmen...i will be watching closely!

Gamma is the likely source of the WC if Deadmen beat Ann Arbour, if they lose they will need to beat WMM to be in with a chance of the WC spot or hope WMM lose another game to claim the #1 spot (in gamma), which is unlikely.

I think i agree with Couch on the playoff teams, although Gorgon is by far the most competitive of the Rookie leagues and long may it continue!

Still in first

Going to be a brawl now in our division, should be fun.

Your game was a nail biter. Genesis had all the luck and all the rolls going in their favor (including a LOL 53 yard FG) in the first three quarters.

Unfortunately, their greedy FG settings gave you a short field to score the go ahead TD.
