I can understand not wanting the pbp to get too crowded, but what about something simple, such as putting something at the end of the line. Like [BT: 1] to indicate there was 1 broken tackle during this play. It's a little annoying going through each play and trying to figure out when and how a broken tackle occurred. If there were no broken tackles, no text would need to be added to the pbp.
Such as this one, how many were broken tackles and how many were pancakes? I have no idea, but a [BT: ?] counter would help:

This play has (I'm pretty sure) only 1 broken tackle.

So the play by play would look like this:
QB Keon Martin handed off to HB Forest Gump for a 9 yard gain. Tackled by CB2 Palace Revolution. [BT: 1]
I could scroll through a players plays, and immediately go to that knowing it had a broken tackle.
