I see we have a new team. Welcome Cleveland.

Cleveland Assassin's - this team wasn't around in the last two seasons and has zero games played and is owned by our buddy CPU. The team does have one human dot on the roster - a level 60 who will no doubt tear it up. Good to see the wonderful job to get competitive teams in the league. I'm sure admin could find the time to squeeze a level one team up in time for the start of the season. Thank you so much for the valiant effort. I speak on behalf of the entire league with the "thank you's" for job well done.

Here's the first look at the West teams. The West will get the first go since I'm on that side of the conference with my team (actually because it seemed like the least likely of the two to change very much although AS better be changed out). I'll knock out the East when I get a minute.

BB's PREDICTED WEST FINISH

1. Running Gag
Dots Returning: 52/1470.81
Season 45 Record: 16-0
The defending champs are coming into the second season with nearly the entire team intact and sport a 20 game winning streak which could grow and grow and grow. This could be just several seasons of hell for there opponents as they were barely slowed down in the rushing attack that left opponents scratching their heads saying "WTF." Go stand on the tracks and wait for a train to smack into you - that's how it feels playing this team. Look for this team to one of the more dominating teams Casual Pro has ever seen - GL West, you'll need it.

2. Twin Peaks
Dots Returning: 43/1387.43
Season 45 Record: 12-4
This maybe a little high for the Peaks as they've been around the 4-6 range the past several seasons but with Final Boss gone and a couple close losses the team could slide into the no. 2 hole (much like the owner likes to do). A seven point loss in the 2nd round has the Peaks motivated as evidenced in the team forum. Rube's ready as should be the team with the injection of some young blood as they move in eight dots from the RP team. Look for TP to make another push to play for gold.

3. San Onofre Isotopes
Dots Returning: 40/1416.92
Season 45 Record: 11-5
With the league a bit quiet last season the Isotopes snuck up on everyone. Well, maybe not but we need some journalistic flare on occasion. I don't think we expected Jack Daniels and jverser to fall on their faces (if anything the five losses should be the shocker - three of the five were by a TD or less). This team could certainly make a push to the top as I know they won't be going down.

4. DIABLOW DOTS - I wonder if the ass holes will make me change the name here.

Season 45 Record: 15-1 (RP1)
With some off season naming and avatar issues with the admin its easy to say this will be one of my last casual groups heading up to pro and the last season I have an inclination about doing any write ups but I'll do a few to kick the season off and see if money and active pro forums can motivate the powers that be. Another all rushing team but it may not have the defense to keep up with Running but time will tell as this team could easily move up or down the list as the season kicks off.

5. YOU'RE DEAD TO ME
Dots Returning: 44/1399.57
Season 45 Record: 11-5
The team enters the third season in CP and has only lost four and five games in those first two season. This season they'll look to do better as they've developed a knack for winning the close games. With that are also some close losses that if won could move the dead into the top four. This has been a very solid team since coming up in the ranks and I wouldn't put it past them to crack the conference title game and possibly vault into the title game. It may take some doing but certainly not impossible for this team to overcome.

6. B. O. S. S.
Dots Returning: 55/1418.48
Season 45 Record: 9-7
Been waiting on BOSS to be their old selves from the last time up here. It's clear that level of dominance won't be happening but the team is solid and will be in the playoff hunt. This will be the group's fourth season with the big boys and the team has gotten to the 2nd round of the playoff twice but have failed to make it to the conference title game. Another season and another go at things and this is not a team to count of of contention to make the big dance.

7. Detroit Muscle
Dots Returning: 0/0
Season 45 Record: 11-5
Detroit has alway been in the mix having won gold in season 44. They've hung around the four and five spots the past two seasons showing little effort in the regular season before the cares rare up in the playoffs. This season will be a little different as the Muscle are flipping the entire roster so they'll be not only be battling opponents but the dreading "chem" monster early on. Detroit may struggle early on but as the chemistry improves so will the entire team. Look for a strong late season push and a playoff appearance.

8. The Bus Drivers
Dots Returning: 55/1350.57
Season 45 Record: 7-9
This is the teams fourth season in CP and I'll go ahead and say it has to be somewhat disappointing for the team. The team has yet to reach the playoffs in those first three seasons but something is telling me "This is the Year." The team returns the entire roster and they'll have to turn those nine losses around and the good news is that three of the teams did not return this year. Drivers won't be able to waltz right into the playoffs this season as they'll get a fight from several team but I'm pegging them as one.

9. Sin City Dream Team
Dots Returning: 55/1319.57
Season 45 Record: 6-10
Another team from last season that did not quite make the playoffs. Also, another team coming in with the same roster. That's great not having any chemistry issues but it's still a team that dropped 10 games on the season. I will note that six of the 10 teams they had losses to are no longer in the league. The team did take some bad losses but if they can learn from their mistakes they may be able position themselves for a push into the playoffs. We'll have to see how that shapes up early and how the new teams look but they have it in them.

10. Austin Longhorns
Dots Returning: 39/1407.89
Season 45 Record: 5-11
This past season was not kind to the Longhorns as they managed to get five wins on the season. They can build off of the end of last season where they strung together a 4-1 record to close the season. It won't be that easy for Austin as the four wins came against teams no longer in the league. Depending how the new teams look the Longhorns will have their work cut out for them to get to the season 44 form where they made the playoffs.

11. Werewolves of Dublin
Dots Returning: 45/1294.91
Season 45 Record: 16-0 (RP1)
There Werewolves were last in CP in season 42 where they made the playoffs. I believe they'll be hard pressed to duplicate that 10-6 season as they have some older dots on the roster that will only get worse as the season progresses. They will keep teams honest with some of the rushing QB's they have but the aging team will run into some roadblocks against the very best in the league and I don't predict a repeat playoff birth here.

12. Hotties Pride
Dots Returning: 54/1224.91
Season 45 Record: 10-6 (RP1)
Rookie team that I'll have to see how they shape up once boosted and in some game action. However, the owner post of "Hi there. We're not really ready for this but that's what ya get when not paying attention. My fault. We're here so......we'll stay. But I did try to go back down to Reg Pro. The Penalties were just Waaayyyy too stiff." That's not a resounding expectation for the team. We'll see if the owner's playing a little cat and mouse game to get into the heads of the opponents early. I will say the DC Doc Caudill has been having some personal issues so here's to a "speedy recovery" on behalf of Casual Pro.

13. Off In The Bathtub (A.D.D)
Dots Returning: 48/1353.88
Season 45 Record: 12-4 (RP1)
Had a solid enough season last year in RP1 but some of losses were to some 73 based teams and to me that doesn't translate well once they begin to play fully boosted teams. They do sport a full roster and won't have any chemistry issues so this is one team I currently have at 13 that should be one do much better than where they have (I'll be honest, just to lazy to copy and paste and change some numbers around). However, it may be too early to say this team has playoff potential until they can show us how they look on the field but keep an eye out here.

14. Hawaiian Tropics
Dots Returning: 33/1347.37
Season 45 Record: 15-1 (RP1)
Tropics were last up in the Casual Pro ranks in season 43 where they went 0-16 but didn't have a roster in play with several CPU dots about. They'll need to prove they belong up here this go around to possibly move up in the rankings. Until then they'll stay down here.

15. Gotham City Rogues
Dots Returning: 39/1129.85
Season 45 Record: 12-4 (RP1)
Don't know much about this new team but they'll have some work ahead of them in the first season of Casual Pro.

16. Vin is seeking to remove American Psycho from CP as the team is full of CPU dots with no intention of filling it up this year.
