- Pocket awareness checks a little harder (more likely to take sack)
- Possible miss radius on bad passes increased
- Low quality (wobbly) passes a little harder to catch
- Deflecting a little more likely to affect catch chance, base value weighted a little higher in general

Just appears to me that anyone who took power and tech blocking to their cap right off the bat will have an SP advantage on anyone that did not.

Not sure about the run changes, yet. It was really needed on outside runs but inside runs were already getting kinda meh.
I hope this doesnt kill inside runs toooo much.


All in all, I like the changes and cant wait for them to affect the games

Probably, but it should help Balanced teams (nerf 100% teams) in a way, that you can monitor over the next few seasons.

What I dont like, is that there wasnt a nerf to Pass Blocking skills.

Pass blocking seems ridiculous overpowered from Seasoned on...Woulda wished that got runed down
What I mean is ppl can still heavily invest in Run Blocking Skills and a few points into pass blocking wll be enough for a good game of air...


Maybe im the only one on this tho

Overall it appears to be a huge nerf to the O-line in general. I will agree that it was very easy to build an overpowered lineman for either pass or run, but the cost increase is substantial if you havent tested it yet. 2 Guards, 1 made with Stobies builder and another in game. At 90 power run blocking (i realize thats super high but still) the cost originally was around 1800 to go from 90 to 91, now the cost is a staggering 2900.

Read the changes more closely it hit both pass and run blocking.

uhm, I know? But not the base itself. Run Blocking wasnt as easy as pass blocking, never was. Nerfing both the same way didnt change anything on it^^

Wouldnt say destroyed. But it did make blitzing viable again at higher tiers, so QB will need to adjust stats accordingly.

pass blocking isnt as op as you think(i got 112 hurries and 25 sacks from just two dts on stark) and it was hit just as hard as run blocking was. The trick to pressure is all about knowing where and when to attack your oppents hell i got 7.5 sacks out of a pure run stopping lb.

In case anyone missed it, there were 3 line items missed in the first post (I just added these)

Sim Stuff
- Max pass velocity reduced a little
- Max punt and kickoff velocity reduced a little
- Run D play selection code will now choose inside/outside run defense specific plays first (before pass/run plays) when looking for those play types (100% inside run D setting will always choose "inside run" play first, if available)

again...I know the hit was as hard as it was to run blocking, lol. I think besides the SP thing, pass blocking needed an extra tweak.

The point where it now gets more expensive than before is already at 25...That seems a little harsh^^ Thought it would be from maybe 50 or sth, going into the extremes.
