There is HB that was already on my team and was signed for next season, but he is now retired and was cut from the team. Are players supposed to be able to retire while they are still under contract?

Where you flagged inactive? Cause if so he might be able to get cut by admin

During the offseason, you can retire a player while he is under contract. I don't know if you're supposed to, but it's always been this way. Retiring a player under contract will automatically show as player being cut.

This is exactly what happened. I was just surprised since I hadn't seen it before.
