if you made the playoffs but lost can you sign players or do you have to wait until the end of the season? I was hoping to so I could figure out my cap ahead of time. Thanks if you can clarify

I'd like to do the same, but I'd assume we can't because there's still a few teams trying to fight for #1 ladder spot.

Yes you can sign players if you lost the first playoff game. You can't sign the same day as the loss, but have to wait until rollover.
