so my team southside rebels players the motor city mayhem. my team is #9 in ladder their team is #8. we played yesterday and we beat them. would just make sense to me that we would move above them in ladder. Just something small that doesnt matter all that much but still if that was college football rankings it would change at least by one.

Do you not understand how ELO rankings work? Not trying to come off as standoffish but rankings are based on hidden ELO scores so it's not always as simple as # 9 beats # 8 therefore # 9 jumps # 8

ELO isn't difficult to understand. The only frustrating part about it is the GLB staff won't make the numbers public. Basically the score takes into effect every game a team has ever plays but is more heavily favored for what you have done lately.

I was #6 at the time when you beat my team I jumped to #8

ladders are based on elo which in theory should place to win one then to lose one. and base it on how many you keep winning. in other words mcm winning streaks this season really jumped them
