My seasoned team has a matchup against a Pro team for their next game is this the norm or what is going on, didn't see any of this last season, and rarely up through Journeyman before my team reset that we'd play up a tier, but never 2 tiers.

You can dooo it! That is pretty rough. I thought it was +/- 2 tiers after soph though? They must have a terrible ladder rank.

Well we are 2/2 against Pro teams. Not as hard to beat as you may think. Just gameplan and you should be alright.

Ground Assault played a Pro Team earlier this season in Ladder and we got killed. Its not really possible. One tier a team can makes up for, but 10 levels is too much.

Best I can tell you have not played any Pro teams. You've beat 2 Journeyman teams, but those are a tier lower than is being discussed here.

Seasoned vs. Journeyman = winnable
Seasoned vs. Pro = not winnable

Personally I think it should be

Rookie & Soph stay within Tier
Seasoned +1
Journeyman -1 to +2
Professional -1 to +1
Veteran -2

So essentially once you hit Journeyman you can play Seasoned to Veteran. It will only limit Seasoned to a +1 since early in build cycle gains are much higher with each progression. Journeyman is where that starts to slow down as the majors are pretty much handled and its the secondary skills that are being worked on.

But wouldn't the logic of professional -2 to +1 mean that Pro teams can still play seasoned? since -2 from pro is seasoned

Yeah, mistake on my part. I confused Pro and Journeyman.
