Yes, that's a HB at QB in the goal line formation. Looks like some type of loophole was found. Not supposed to be possible.

Inspect element on the depth chart will allow you to do this, found it 5 seasons ago, but honestly the gains didn't quite add up.

How is it done exactly?

What do you mean by gains not adding up?

This, and its done by just plugging in the player ID into the HB spot.

But if you don't have a rushing QB on your roster, it's a good way to completely catch a team off guard. The HB is better at rushing than a pocket QB even with the OOP. So with no rushing QB on the roster, it does add up.

If people are using Inspect Element to circumvent the limitations of the UI they are clearly exploiting the game and operating outside the TOS.

The best fix would be a server-side check of the depth chart prior to the sim. If any player is in a position they shouldn't be (HB @ QB, FB @ HB, etc.) the depth chart should revert to a randomly generated CPU depth chart that complies with the limitations imposed by the depth chart UI.

I would think the best way is to implement a server-side validation at the time of saving the depth chart. If the validation fails, then don't save the modified depth chart.

Very true. I guess I was in a "punish those who cheat" mood.
