When players have a clear running lane and decide to run out of bounds, is it because their run tactics are set to elusive?

Yep. I switched my kr/pr from elusive to average and he will do an occational fake but then run straight. He use to run out of bounds all the time.

All of rookie and most of soph its best on most runners and returns to set as north/south imo
Late soph or seasoned as you have the carry awareness and elusive/power plus SA you can deviate, but I could be wrong too

Wouldn't carry awareness mean a little factor when deciding to cut in or not when closing the run to the sideline?

We want to say it does but it may not matter. Even with 100 carry awareness Elusive will make you sashay out of bounds still.
